A meticulous top-to-toe refurbishment in 2023 saw all our rooms and suites, two restaurants and bars, rooftop pool and terrace completely reimagined in Catalan Noucentisme style. This refurbishment honoured our century-old building’s history and the fascinating life of its founder, Francesc Cambó, a revered politician and patron of the arts. This luxury hotel in Barcelona is also home to a historic library that houses Cambó’s personal literary collection, an urban spa, unique spaces for events and a neoclassical secret garden.

Our luxury hotel in the centre of Barcelona, on the emblematic via Layetana, between the historic Gothic neighbourhood, glistening beaches and the sophisticated Paseo de Gràcia, putting the city’s museums, theatres, historic sights, gastronomic delights, and creative treasures within easy reach.

After a busy day exploring, there is no better spot in the city to watch the sun go down than on our breathtaking rooftop terrace La Terraza del Central, an idyllic hideaway offering an infinity pool, loungers, cocktail bar, restaurant, regular dj sessions and the best views of Barcelona skyline.

Elsewhere, you can relax in our urban spa, enjoy sharing plates and local wines at our lively streetside restaurant & bodega Can Bo (opening June), or take afternoon tea in our historic wood-panelled library.

Our guests are fast-tracked to the very best of local culture through works of art from renowned Catalan artists, while the entrance hall serves as a rotating in-house gallery space.
