La Mercè de Barcelona is a festival dedicated to the Mare de Déu de la Mercè, the patron saint of Barcelona. The festival celebrates the end of summer and welcomes the cool autumn months. There are activites programmed throughout the city from Friday 20th September to Tuesday 24th.
