RESERVATION MANAGER

Responsabilities:

Short-term:

  • To coordinate the reservations department and supporting the team when necessary. To be the head of the reservations department, looking after a minimum of two team members.
  • Relevant configuration of PMS to ensure proper implementation of revenue and sales strategies (including, but not limited to, rate codes, services, and packages in the PMS and the like).
  • Optimization of information, content, and descriptions on online distribution channels in cooperation with the revenue and marketing managers.

Mid-term:

  • Tracking and reporting rate disparities when found to the revenue manager.
  • Ongoing communication with reservations, e-commerce, and marketing teams to enhance the efficiency of direct sales efforts.
  • Analysis and weekly revision of online prices to find errors and discrepancies.
  • To complete other reasonable duties as requested by leadership, including participation in duty manager rotas.
  • Ensure CARDEX profiles are correctly filled for auditing purposes.
  • To revise the next day arrival list with the Front Office Manager to correctly assign rooms by priority.
  • Participate in the daily VIP arrival list to ensure a proper and five-star quality standards are delivered.

Long-term:

  • Involvement in budgeting season.
  • Actively participate and collaborate in the e-Commerce strategy, attending meetings with the designated supplier contractor.
  • To prepare and develop reports and comments on Business Review sections, designated by the manager.
  • To develop the position of training manager to assure a proper understanding of the reservations processes, channels and segments to the Front Office Team. To prepare and update supporting documents and SOPs needed for the task.
  • Training and coaching the reservations and front office team in the upselling program to ensure the upselling budget is achieved.
  • To ensure the list of rates codes in the PMS is updated.
  • To create and coordinate the hotel call centre, ensuring each call and email is delivered and answered in a timely manner and creating a telephone etiquette. This will include to create a new reservations email and separate reservations and queries from the info@grandhotelcentral.com current email.
  • To look after and ensure important queries from the Rooftop and Can Bo Restaurants mailbox be answered and delivered to right team.
  • To work and develop any other reasonable task that might arise for this position and for the hotel operational procedure.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of reservations management experience within the 5 stars portfolio.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, economics, business administration or related.
  • Systems Proficiency with Lybra, STR, Witbooking, Ulysses Cloud, and MS Office Suite.
  • Effective in prioritizing work and following through on commitments relating to a wide variety of tasks.
  • High degree of initiative and ability to work effectively in teams or independently.
  • Collaborative approach with peers at all levels of the organization.

  • Under the guidance of the DOSM, responsible for maximizing Luxury Leisure and MICE business in assigned geographical area of the business.
