One of the events marked in red on the calendar of motor lovers in 2022 is the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Spain, which is held every year at the Montmeló circuit, officially Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
The sixth round of the FIA World Championship will be held from 20 to 22 May, although the highlight of the competition will be the final race on the last day.
Drivers such as Fernando Alonso, Max Verstappen, Carlos Sainz and Sebastian Vettel will take to the track to offer one of the greatest shows in Formula 1. A total of 66 laps will be run along the 4.7 kilometres of length of the Montmeló circuit, one of the most classic tracks and a favourite among the teams. One of the drivers with more victories at the Barcelona circuit is Britain’s Lewis Hamilton, who also won the competition in 2021.
The Spanish Grand Prix is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated competitions of the Formula 1 season and a memorable experience that no motorsports fan wants to miss.
